Welcome to Merryweather’s Apothecary, a long-standing labor of love.

Our tinctures are made by hand in small batches, as time and space allow. They sit for many months, often years — much longer than standard preparations — as we take our time with them and, as much as is possible, work with the alignment of the planets. All of our tinctures are made with organic cane alcohol and organic or wild-crafted herbs. Many of our tinctures are spagyrics, a special alchemical preparation which you can learn more about here.  

Our tinctures work best over time, through mechanisms that are slower and more subtle than conventional medicine. It is not always a matter of ‘active ingredients,’ as more healing may come from the intention behind the product, and yours in taking it, than anything else. Often, not much is needed.

We also offer special products from friends around the world — rare teas, protective amulets, healing objects. These offerings are not always available in other places, but that also means we may not be able to find them again. We will soon begin selling our one-off ceramic pieces as well.

We are open to custom requests, and enjoy the problem-solving involved in anything new.
